A lighting device comprises a lampshade (1), a light guide plate (2), and a base (3) that are mounted as a whole. The light guide plate (2) is mounted between the lampshade (1) and the base (3). An LED lamp substrate (4) is mounted on any side of the light guide plate (2), and an LED lamp (5) is fixed on the LED lamp substrate (4). The LED lamp is arranged on only one side of the light guide plate, so that the cost is reduced, and the brightness effect equal to that of two LED lamps is achieved. The lampshade and the base are arranged, so that not only the LED lamp and the light guide plate can be protected, but also the lampshade has a dodging effect, so that a dodging film is not required to be arranged on the front of the light guide plate, the base has a certain reflection effect, so that a reflection piece is not required to be arranged on the back surface of the light guide plate. The lampshade is a semitransparent shade, so that a more desirable dodging effect is achieved.
