[Problem] To provide a disc spring of elliptical shape, which can conform to an oblong shape of an installation space, and exhibit non-linear load characteristics, and which can reduce the stress difference between the curved side parts of the long radial part and the curved side parts of the short radial part. [Solution] The elliptical disc spring (100) is provided with a main body (110) of disc shape, the outer perimeter of which is elliptical in shape. A hole part (110A) is formed in the center part of the main body (110). The shape of the hole part (110A) may be circular or elliptical, for example, and various modifications thereof are possible. The main body (110) has a long radial part (111) and a short radial part (112). The plate width (a) of the long radial part (111) is set to a greater value than the plate width (b) of the short radial part (112) (i.e., a>b). |
