PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a piezoelectric material having a high Curie temperature and a high level of insulating property, and exhibiting a high level of piezoelectricity; and a piezoelectric device, a liquid discharging head, an ultrasonic motor and a dust removal apparatus which are arranged by use of the piezoelectric material.SOLUTION: The piezoelectric material comprises a perovskite metal oxide expressed by the general formula (1): xBaTiO-yBiFeO-zBi(MTi)O, where M is at least one element selected from a group consisting of Mg, Ni and Zn, x is a numeric value in the range of 0.25≤x≤0.75, y is a numeric value in the range of 0.15≤y≤0.73, and z is a numeric value in the range of 0.02≤z≤0.60, provided that x+y+z=1. The perovskite metal oxide contains vanadium. The content of the vanadium is 0.0005-0.0050 mol to one mol of the perovskite metal oxide. |
