CONTINUOUS POSITIVE AIRWAY PRESSURE DEVICE Abstract A continuous positive airway pressure system (10) features a housing (16) s forming an airway chamber, and an air pressure inlet (22) and an air pressure outlet. The housing (16) further defines internally a pair of tapered air jets (32), and a pair of tapered air receivers (38). The air receivers (38) are located downstream of the air supply jets (32) and disposed coaxially with respective ones of the air supply jets (32). Each receiver (38) has a taper (39) in an opposite direction to the direction of the taper (35) of the air supply la jets (32).
