PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope system capable of transmitting pixel signals without impairing an effect of noise resistance, and capable of reducing power consumption of a distal end part of an endoscope.SOLUTION: An endoscope system includes: an imaging unit for sequentially outputting pixel signals of the intensity according to the amount of received light of pixels; and a time conversion unit 12 for converting the intensity of the pixel signals to time information indicating the intensity of the pixel signals by the time interval, the width of time. The endoscope system further includes: an insertion part inserted into a subject; a transmission unit 10 for guiding the time information transmitted from the time conversion unit to outside of the subject; a time interval conversion unit 15 for receiving the time information guided by the transmission unit, converting the intensity of the pixel signals indicated by the received time information to digital signals, and outputting the converted digital signals; an image processing unit 16 for outputting images corresponding to the pixel signals converted to the digital signals by the time interval conversion unit; and an outside device located outside of the subject. |
