PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems in which according to a past method of manufacturing a polymer by that a ring-opening polymerization monomer is performed by ring-opening polymerization, an organic solvent remains in the polymer, thereby there is a problem in which necessity for removing the organic solvent from the product is caused, moreover, when being polymerized using carbon dioxide as a solvent, a reaction time is long, a molecular weight of an obtained resin is low and is not practicable or the like.SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing a polymer includes: bringing a compressive fluid and a ring-opening polymerizable monomer into contact with each other, followed by adding a catalyst thereto, to thereby allow the ring-opening polymerizable monomer to carry out ring-opening polymerization. The polymerization can be performed without using an organic solvent, thereby this is not needed to be removed from a product according to the manufacturing method. Moreover, there is an effect that a reaction time is shortened compared with a past method in which carbon dioxide is used as a solvent according to the manufacturing method. |
