PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnesium alloy formed body which is excellent in both corrosion resistance and electric conductivity, and to provide a method for manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: A magnesium formed body includes: a base body 1 made of magnesium or a magnesium alloy; and an aluminum-plated layer which is coated on at least part of a surface of the base body and bonded to the base body in contact with the base body.
