<p>The present description provides methods and apparatuses for improved transfer control protocol (TCP) acknowledgement transmission during operation of a slow-start process in wireless environments. For example, in an aspect, the present disclosure presents a method of wireless communication, which may include receiving, at a radio network controller (RNC), a transmission control protocol (TCP) packet for a user equipment (UE) from a server. Furthermore, example methods may include reforming the TCP packet into a set of radio link control (RLC) packets. Additionally, in some examples, such methods may additionally include transmitting the set of RLC packets to a base station. Moreover, such methods may include sending an accelerated TCP acknowledgement message to the server based on the transmitting of the set of RLC packets to the base station.</p> |
