<p>Disclosed is a sliding member in which the lubricant retention capacity of a woven cloth is increased without deteriorating the strength of the woven cloth. The sliding member comprises a cloth produced by weaving yarns comprising fiber bundles of a fluororesin and a lubricant attached to the cloth. In the sliding member, the fluororesin is a polytetrafluoroethylene (an expanded polytetrafluoroethylene). An oil is used as the lubricant. The sliding member can be used in an image-fixing device.</p> |
