PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silicone elastomer composition for forming a cured product having suitable hardness for a tube for medical use while having no yield point, and still showing excellent elongation property as well as strength at the time of cutting, and provide an elastic member for medical use and a tube for medical use made of this composition.SOLUTION: A silicone elastomer composition contains (A) 100 parts by weight of organopolysiloxane of a crude rubber type containing the following ingredients at a mass ratio of 10/90-95/5: (A1) organopolysiloxane that has the alkenyl group only at molecular chain terminal, (A2) organopolysiloxane that has an alkenyl group at molecular chain terminal and side chain and has a content of the alkenyl group in less than 0.10 mass%, (B) organopolysiloxane having a content of the alkenyl group in 0.50-20.0 mass%, (C) organohydrogenpolysiloxane, (D) an inorganic filler, and (E) an addition reaction catalyst. This silicone elastomer composition gives a cured product having 40 or more of hardness, 500% or more of elongation at cutting, and 7.0 MPa or more of tensile strength. |
