PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightfast wood, hardly causing a color change of a material by light and a method for manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: A lightfast wood is manufactured by applying nearly 10 g per one shaku square (around 30 cm square) of a maleic acid aqueous solution adjusted to 1% on the surface of an oak wood of 90 mm in width, 150 mm in length and 12 mm in thickness, and then applying heat treatment for 120 seconds by a hot plate of 200°C. |
