PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate adjustment of the clearance between the tip part of an internal feedback screw and the depth of a heating cylinder.SOLUTION: A high-shear processing apparatus 1 includes an internal feedback screw 6 which is arranged in a rotatable way in a heating cylinder 5 and has a communicating feedback hole within it. An outer peripheral clearance 17 is disposed in the circumferential direction between the internal feedback screw 6 and the heating cylinder 5, and a tip clearance 19 is disposed in the tip part. A chucking portion 31 supporting the internal feedback screw 6 is arranged at the tip part of a spindle 7. A ring-shaped adjustment spacer 36 is engaged in and inserted into a base-end-side shaft part 33 of the internal feedback screw 6, and the shaft part 33 is engaged in an engagement hole 32 of the chucking portion 31 so as to make the adjustment spacer 36 held between a step part 32a of the engagement hole 32 and the base 6c connecting the shaft 33. The width S2 of the tip clearance 19 is adjusted by insertion and removal of the adjustment spacer 36.
