PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus suitable for sterilizing a film for packaging.SOLUTION: A sterilizing apparatus for a film for packaging has a running means of a film (1) for packaging, a sterilizing agent supplying means (2) for spraying sterilizing agent to both surfaces of the film (1) for packaging, and a drying means for heating both the surfaces of the film (1) for packaging and drying the sterilizing agent. The drying means is a roller (3) for drying rotating while contacting the film (1) for packaging. The roller (3) for drying has a heating cylinder contacting the film (1) for packaging and an induction coil inserted into the heating cylinder or has the heating cylinder, the induction coil, and an electrically conductive member for dielectric heating arranged between the heating cylinder and the induction coil.
