PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sell a predetermined merchandise only to a user having a purchase qualification, and to allow a management host to manage sold merchandise information associated with the purchase qualification.SOLUTION: The contact lens vending machine comprises: purchase qualification information acquisition means 11 that acquires purchase qualification information from the user; purchase qualification check means 12 that, when the user purchases a merchandise (contact lens), refers to a prescription valid period and a merchandise usage period and judges validity of the purchase qualification; merchandise transfer means 13 that transfers the merchandise to a merchandise pick-up opening by a minimum sales unit for one eye only when the purchase qualification of the user is valid; merchandise information acquisition means 14 that acquires merchandise information F2 about the merchandise to be transferred to the merchandise pick-up opening from a merchandise information record medium M; purchase history transmission means 15 that adds a purchase date and time to acquired merchandise information F2 and transmits a purchase history F3 associated with a purchase qualification F1 of the user purchasing the merchandise to a predetermined management host over a network. |
