PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle sharing system which can suppress opportunity loss in use of vehicles.SOLUTION: A vehicle sharing system manages preceding reservations and subsequent reservations following the preceding reservations made by a plurality of users. It collects current positions of vehicles used by the preceding reservations (S2), calculates estimated returning times of the vehicles to their returning positions on the basis of the collected current positions of the vehicles before previously set planned use end times of the preceding reservations and if any of the estimated returning times is later than the planned use end time, detects a late return in which a vehicle returns to its returning position later than the planned use end time (S6). If a late return is detected (S6: NO) and there is no subsequent reservation of the vehicle (S7: YES), the planned use end time of the preceding reservation of the vehicle is automatically extended (S8). |
