PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gasification plant that can continue a steady operation without stopping a gasification furnace when carbon dioxide recovery equipment that recovers carbon dioxide from a generated gas trips by some causes.SOLUTION: In a gasification plant, a gas supply system 20b is disposed that supplies some of carbon dioxide recovered by carbon dioxide recovery equipment to a gasification furnace 5a of gasification equipment 5, and a gas holder 18 is disposed that accommodates gas in the gas supply system 20b, a nitrogen gas supplying system 19a is disposed that supplies nitrogen gas 19 separated from air by air separation equipment 3 to the gas holder. When the carbon dioxide recovery equipment trips, switching to the nitrogen gas 19 from feeding of carbon dioxide is performed, and the nitrogen gas 19 accommodated in the gas holder 18 is supplied to the gasification furnace 5a of the gasification equipment 5 from the gas holder 18 through the gas supply system 20b. |
