PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jig and a method of placing a strain gauge on an object to be measured in a state that the object to be measured is held at a strain gauge attaching position so as to attach the strain gauge to the object to be measured easily and accurately.SOLUTION: A strain gauge attaching jig has an object to be measured holding part 10 to hold an object to be measured 1 at a target position. Also, a strain gauge holding sheet 11 is a transparent sheet having adhesiveness on a rear face, and it accurately holds a strain gauge 3 on the rear face of the strain gauge holding sheet 11 by joining two orthogonal lines 11a on the surface with a center mark 4 on a surface 3a of the strain gauge 3. Furthermore, by joining lines 12a around an opening part 12b for a strain gauge attachment with the lines 11a, the strain gauge can always be held at the same position, and the strain gauge 3 is attached to the object to be measured 1 easily and accurately by pressurizing the strain gauge 3 via the strain gauge holding sheet 11. |
