The present invention provides a steering column arrangement, and an assembly method therefor. The steering column arrangement has a sliding sleeve (1) and a universal joint yoke, which has a receiving portion (4), in which the sliding sleeve (1) is encompassed at least in sections and coaxially. The outer lateral surface of the sliding sleeve (1) and the inner lateral surface of the receiving portion (4) have shaped elements for form-fitting connection. A torsion damper element (2) is arranged between the sliding sleeve (1) and the receiving portion (4) of the universal joint yoke. Said torsion damper element is a ring arrangement (2), which comprises an inner support ring (12), an outer support ring (13) and an elastomer ring (14) arranged therebetween, wherein the inner support ring (12) and the outer support ring (13) are resilient in the radial direction and are rigid in the axial direction.
