A chuck device (10) is provided with a pair of clamp claws (51) for clamping a component (50), a pusher part (55) for pushing a pin (52) of the component (50) into a hole (54) of a base plate (53), a clamping air cylinder part (57) for driving the clamp claws (51), and a pusher air cylinder part (58) for driving the pusher part (55). The chuck device (10) is detachably retained on an installation head (11) provided to a movement mechanism (12) of a component mounting machine, and is configured so that air pressure is supplied to the two air cylinders (57), (58) through an air supply passage (26) on the installation head (11) side.
