This image processing device is provided with: a first feature amount calculation unit for calculating a first feature amount for every pixel constituting an image obtained by imaging a subject; a region division unit for dividing the image into a plurality of regions on the basis of the first feature amount; a second feature amount calculation unit for calculating a second feature amount for every divided region; a classification unit for classifying each of the regions in the plurality of regions as having some attribute among a plurality of types of attribute, on the basis of the second feature amount; and a diagnosis assistance information calculation unit for calculating diagnosis assistance information for assisting diagnosis, on the basis of the proportion of attributes possessed by a predetermined number two or greater of the regions in the plurality of regions classified by the classification unit.
