A warning message notification system and notification method and a mobile terminal. A communication subsystem in the system comprises a warning message cache processing module and a terminal-side message presenting module. The warning message cache processing module is set to cache a warning message from a warning message sender, and after receiving a new warning message which belongs to the same warning event as the cached warning message, perform one or more of the following operations: deleting the cached warning message, obtaining an updated warning message according to the new warning message and the cached warning message, sending the updated warning message to the terminal-side presenting module, and caching the updated warning message; and the terminal-side message presenting module is set to present to a terminal device the received warning message. The solution can solve the problem of repeated and unnecessary notification of a warning message of the same warning event to the same user terminal, and the problem of poor experience of a user who repeatedly receives the unnecessary warning message of the same warning event.
