PURPOSE: A sheet-shaped heat generating induction heater is provided to improve indoor heating efficiency as hot air heating is possible by blowing the air heated with the heat generated in an inducing heating plate to a long distance. CONSTITUTION: A sheet-shaped heat generating induction heater comprises a main body (1), an insulating plate (2), an inducing heating plate (3), a working coil, a working coil driving unit (5), and an operating unit (6). The main body is equipped with a safety net (11) and a rear plate in opened front and rear surfaces. A storing unit in which the working coil driving unit is stored is formed in the upper part of the main body. The insulating plate insulates the heat to prevent the heat of the inducing heating plate from delivering to the working coil. The inducing heating plate is heated by a magnetic field in which is generated when the current flows in the working coil and heats the surrounding air. The working coil is fixed in the rear surface of the insulating plate. The working coil driving unit is installed inside the storing unit of the main body. The working coil driving unit generates high frequency current having a predetermined inducing heating frequency band required to drive the working coil. The operating unit is installed in the upper surface or upper front surface of the main body. |
