PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical scanner capable of reducing the generation of an abnormal image with high accuracy while preventing a scattering light due to a ghost light from reaching a scanned surface.SOLUTION: A first light flux LBk and a second light flux LBc both of which are deflected by a polygon mirror 21 and pass through a scanning lens 23R enter their respective photoreceptor drums by having optical paths split by an optical path splitting element 26R. Even when a component where the optical path of a laser beam LBk (first light flux) which has to pass through the optical path splitting element 26R is folded back by approximately 90° with the optical path splitting element 26R, that is, a second ghost light LBk-G is generated, the light is shielded by light shielding means 53, and a part of the ghost light LBk-G becomes a scattering light reflected at an angle part of a folding back mirror 43, and is prevented from reaching the photoreceptor drum scanned by the signal light LBc-S of the second light flux LBc by passing through an opening 28c. |
