PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a skinfold thickness measuring apparatus capable of easily measuring a skinfold thickness of a subject by an inexpensive configuration.SOLUTION: A skinfold thickness measuring apparatus for measuring the thickness of subcutaneous fat of a subject includes a heat resistor 113 for which a first temperature sensor 111 is disposed on a surface on the side to be in contact with a body surface of the subject and a second temperature sensor 112 is disposed on a surface on the side facing the surface on the side to be in contact with the body surface. The skinfold thickness measuring apparatus calculates, using an inputted body temperature value of the subject as a core temperature, a proportionality coefficient in a heat flow model in which it is defined that a difference between the core temperature of the subject and a temperature measured by the first temperature sensor in the state of bringing the heat resistor into contact with the subject and a difference between the temperatures measured by the first and second temperature sensors are in a proportional relation, and estimates the thickness of the subcutaneous fat of the subject on the basis of the calculated proportionality coefficient. |
