A tracheostoma valve (100) for attachment to a tracheostoma valve plaster is disclosed. The valve comprises a tubular base portion (101) with a proximal opening (102) through which inhaled and exhaled air may exit and enter, respectively, the tracheostoma valve (100). A distal lid portion (107) is arranged distally of the tubular base portion (101), said distal lid portion (107) having a distal opening (116) through which inhaled and exhaled air may enter and exit, respectively, the tracheostoma valve (100). The valve (100) further comprises a valve flap member (115) for closing the distal opening (116) via interaction between a front side of said valve flap member (115) and the edge of the distal opening (116), and a valve retaining arm (121) for interaction with said valve flap member (115) to prevent said valve flap member (115) from interacting with said distal opening (116). |
