A heat-assisted cooking apparatus is provided with a heating device (7), a power-control circuit (6) for supplying electric power to the heating device (7), an input device (1) and input-control circuit (2) for obtaining user input, and a main-control circuit (4) and sub-control circuit (5) for controlling the power-control circuit (6). The input-control circuit (2) sends a start signal instructing that cooking is to commence to the main-control circuit (4) and sub-control circuit (5). The main-control circuit (4) sends a first active signal to the power-control circuit (6) when the start signal has been sent. The sub-control circuit (5) sends a second active signal to the power-control circuit (6) when the start signal has been sent. The power-control circuit (6) starts supplying power to the heating device (7) when the first active signal and the second active signal are input simultaneously. |
