<p>[Purpose] To provide a lubricating oil composition for a shock absorber used to prevent wear of a piston rod and guide bushing in the shock absorber where, in particular, the coefficient of friction between bronze and chromium is low and the area of bronze subjected to friction is small. A lubricating oil composition for a shock absorber, characterized in containing (A) a base oil comprising a mineral oil and/or a synthetic oil and (B) 0.05 to 10 percent by mass, with regards to the total amount of composition, of a partial ester of a polyhydric alcohol having a C10-20 aliphatic acid residual group.</p> |
