PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuse for a vehicle which does not entirely require a careful attention so as to prevent scratches and cleaning or the like for maintaining to be transparent, and can be checked from a remote distant place whether or not a fuse element is blown out. SOLUTION: The fuse for the vehicle 10 is provided with a resin-made protection cover 11 which tightly seals a fuse element housing part to house the fuse element and a conductive plate to fix the fuse element in an internal space. A part 12 of the resin-made protection cover 11 is made thinner in its thickness than the other portion for a prescribed length, and that thinness does not cause a fracture by an internal pressure under the temperature at a normal time of the fuse element, and is fractured by a high pressure due to the high temperature at the time of blow-out of the fuse element.
