A flow-through apparatus comprising a thermally regulated reaction chamber and an air movement device, wherein the reaction chamber comprises a temperature regulated surface which is adapted to facilitate flow-through hybridization to take place under thermally regulated and controlled conditions, and a thermal assembly comprising an electrical powered active thermal means adapted to heat or cool the temperature regulated surface by conduction; and wherein a plurality of draining apertures adapted to drain excessive or residual liquid inside the reaction chamber is distributed on the bottom surface of the reaction chamber. The plurality of draining apertures facilitates suction power equalization as well as division of the reaction compartment into a plurality of smaller compartments on cooperation with a modular cartridge having a sealing grid. |
