Lighting device for shelves

The device (1) has an elongated profile body (3) whose longitudinal side comprises a holding profile that is fixed at a transverse profile i.e. price tag (70), of a shelf (2). Another longitudinal side of the profile body comprises another holding profile and formed opposite to the former longitudinal side of the profile body, where the latter holding profile simulates a contour of the transverse profile. The profile body comprises holding elements for positioning luminous elements (4) in the profile body. The luminous elements comprise an LED module i.e. lamp. An independent claim is also included for a shelf.
