Erosion Resistant Films for Use on Heated Aerodynamic Surfaces

The present invention relates to a tape comprising a single layer comprising a crosslinked polymer, selected from the group consisting of crosslinked polyurethane, crosslinked polyurea, and crosslinked mixed polyurethane/polyurea polymer, and an adhesive layer. The tape may be used as erosion resistant protective films which may be used on aerodynamic surfaces in conjunction with de-icing apparati.
