PURPOSE: A UV-curable ink-accommodating layer is provided to form a colored region without mixing with other adjacent coloring ink and to obtain a color display device preventing the loss of brightness. CONSTITUTION: A UV-curable ink-accommodating layer is formed by making a transparent resin layer (13) consisting of a transparent resin composition in which a dissolved transparent resin accommodate a coloring ink. The transparent resin composition contains a UV-curable component as an essential ingredient. A manufacturing method of a color filter includes a step of forming a transparent resin layer and discharging coloring ink with various colors onto the transparent resin film; and a step of drying the result and curing the transparent resin film by UV-irradiation to form a colored region.
