摘要 <p>PURPOSE: An electrolysis method is provided to pass through multiple operation starting and stopping cycles without causing any damages to the performance of a battery. CONSTITUTION: An electrolysis method comprises the following steps: wetting an oxygen consumption electrode using a hydrated alkali metal solution having the chloride ion content less than 1,000 ppm; introducing an anode solution into an anode space; introducing oxygen containing gas into a gas space of a cathode space; and applying electrolysis voltage in between an anode and a cathode. The distance between an ion exchange membrane and the oxygen consumption electrode is 0.01-2 mm. A battery includes at least one anode space including the anode solution containing chloridized alkali metal and the anode space, and the oxygen consumption electrode as the cathode including the ion exchange membrane and a silver containing catalyst.</p>
