<p>PURPOSE: A steel plate for an oil sand slurry pipe and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to offer good cold shock-resistant properties. CONSTITUTION: A steel plate for an oil sand slurry pipe comprises the 0.25-0.35% of carbon, the 0.1-0.5% of silicon, the 1.4-1.8% of manganese, the less 0.05% of aluminum, the 0.005-0.05% of niobium, the 0.005-0.02% of titanium, the less 0.03% of phosphorus, the less 0.03% of sulfur, and the less 0.01% of nitrogen.
