PURPOSE: A photographing method by separating an object and a device thereof are provided to photograph an object first and to photograph the remaining area later, thereby taking the photo by object. CONSTITUTION: If user input is detected, a photographing device determines whether the user input is a photographing command or an object photographing command (S220, S225, S235). If the user input is the photographing command, the photographing device produces a photo file through the image processing of a current input image (S230). If the user input is the object photographing command, the photographing device distinguishes an object in a preview image based on the user input (S240). If the object image is produced, the photographing device outputs a synthesized preview image that the produced object image is indicated on the current input image (S245, S250).
