PURPOSE: A reinforcing bar coupler and a connection method of a reinforcing bar coupler using the same are provided to confirm whether a torque value for including a proper connection force is obtained or not by confirming the damage of a trimmed groove. CONSTITUTION: A reinforcing bar coupler (100) comprises a reinforcing bar connection unit, an insertion guiding unit (120), and a trimmed clamping unit (140). The reinforcing bar connection unit forms a female screw unit (110) on the inner circumference in order to be screwed to male screw units of two reinforcing bars. The trimmed clamping unit is screwed to the reinforcing bar by being connected to the reinforcing bar connection unit and a trimmed groove (141). The trimmed groove is trimmed after the reinforcing bar is screwed to the reinforcing bar connection unit. The trimmed clamping unit is separated from the reinforcing bar connection unit and is rotated in order to be additionally clamped. |
