摘要 PURPOSE: A method of estimating the location of an object in a dark environment is provided to enable 3D location tracking at night, in a dark room, or in a cave by estimating the location of an object by a location estimation algorithm through stereo photon counting detection imaging device and photon counting image matching. CONSTITUTION: A method of estimating the location of an object in a dark environment acquires a left photon-counting image with a left photon-counting detector (S1) and acquires a right photon-counting image with a right photon-counting detector (S2). The method pre-processes the acquired image (S3). The method pre-processes the acquired image (S4). Variation of pixel by nonlinear matching filtering of the left and right images is calculated (S5). The depth of a hidden object is estimated from pixel variation (S6).
