A pulse method for the determination of time constant of dielectric polarization, wherein external electric field variable in time is applied to dielectric, with measurement of current passing through the sample. The value of electric field is changed stepwise from one constant value to another one, with obtaining instantaneous values of polarization current, and polarization time constant is determined as time constant of exponential function by the ratio of its values at different time instants and known interval between those instants. |
