<p>The invention relates to a rotary control device for a steered axle (3) of a trailer (1), said steered axle (3) being able to rotate about a substantially vertical steering axis (10), said trailer (1) having a chassis (15) and being intended to be attached in an articulated manner to a trailer (2) in front of it. More especially, this device comprises an articulated means (6) fixed in a manner that is articulated about a substantially vertical axis via one of its ends to said trailer (2) in front, and fixed by its other end to a hydraulic and/or pneumatic means (7) for controlling the rotation of the steered axle (3), which means (7) is able to rotate about a substantially vertical control axis (9), and which device comprises a means of mechanical feedback from the steered axle (3) to the rotational-control means (7).
