PURPOSE: A piezoelectric energy harvesting device and a method are provided to easily convert natural energy into electric energy by converting a mechanical energy into the electric energy through a piezoelectric module and by converting the natural energy into the mechanical energy through the rotation of a propeller. CONSTITUTION: A piezoelectric energy harvesting device comprises a propeller(110), a driving unit, and one or more piezoelectric modules(130). The propeller rotates with natural energy. The driving unit drives along a predetermined orbit by being engaged with rotation of the propeller and includes one or more protrusions(125). The piezoelectric module is separately arranged at outer periphery of the driving unit and generates electric energy by repeating deformation and restoration by receiving mechanical energy from the protrusions of the driving unit. |
