MOTOR-VEHICLE SUSPENSION SYSTEM WITH TRANSVERSE CONTROL ARMS AND CENTRAL LEAF SPRING CONNECTING THE ARMS

PURPOSE: A suspension system for a vehicle including a transverse control arm and a center leaf spring connected to the transverse control arm is provided to be used for various vehicle models as a rear suspension and a front suspension by improving applicability of a suspension. CONSTITUTION: A suspension system for a vehicle including a transverse control arm and a center leaf spring connected to the transverse control arm includes one or more transverse control arms (50) and a spring unit. The transverse control arm includes the outmost end connected to each wheel support (2) with a joint type and the inmost end connected to a frame (9) of the vehicle in the joint type. The spring unit is comprised by a leaf spring (51) mounted in a transverse direction on the vertical direction (A) of the vehicle and is reversely operated about vertical movements of two wheel supporters. The leaf spring is mounted in the center between two transverse control arms, and the end of the leaf spring is connected to the inmost end of the transverse control arm. The transverse control arm is connected to the leaf spring and rotates around the leaf spring on a horizontal plane. The transverse control arm relatively slides between the ends at which the arm and the leaf spring are connected in the vertical direction of the leaf spring.
