PURPOSE: An RFID base domestic animal group management method and apparatus are provided to assign group identification information which distinguishes a domestic animal group by group and share the same group identification information when a specific step is shared even if multiple domestic animal groups are combined or separated. CONSTITUTION: An RFID base domestic animal group management method comprises following steps. Group identification information is assigned according to a group in which multiple domestic animals are grouped (S210). A new domestic animal flowed in a specific group is checked (S220). When the new domestic animal is flowed, the group identification information of the group in which the new domestic animal is flowed is updated by using group identification information of a former group of the new domestic animal (S230). The group identification information is periodically renewed and reassigned to multiple groups (S240).
