COATING COMPOSITION FOR SHIELDING ELECTROMAGNETIC WAVE COMPRISING GRAPHENE

PURPOSE: A coating composition for shielding electromagnetic waves is provided to improve shielding capability of electromagnetic waves, dispersibility and storage stability, to facilitate the process of spray-coating, and to prevent operational degradation induced by oxidation. CONSTITUTION: A coating composition for shielding electromagnetic waves comprises planar graphene powder, binder resin, and a solvent. The graphene powder has a width of 5 to 10 nm, lengths of 5 to 20 micron in X-axis and Y-axis respectively, and a specific surface area of 100 to 500 m^2/mg. The binder resin is water-dispersible polyurethane dispersion or water-dispersible polyurethane acrylic copolymer dispersion. The solvent is a mixture solvent of a solvent having a boiling point below 200 °C and a solvent having a boiling point above 200 °C.
