<p>PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display device and a method for fabricating the same are provided to prevent the deterioration of an aperture ratio due to a common line by forming one common line that is parallel to a gate line in the center part of a lower substrate only. CONSTITUTION: An upper unit pixel group is positioned in the upper part of a lower substrate. A lower unit pixel group is positioned in the lower part of the lower substrate. The upper and the lower unit pixel group include gate lines (GL) intersecting with each other and unit pixels defined by data lines (DL). Film transistors (TFT) are formed on the upper part of the upper unit pixel group and the lower part of the lower unit pixel group respectively. One common line (CL) is positioned between an upper unit pixel positioned on the lowermost part among the upper unit pixel group and a lower unit pixel positioned on the uppermost part among the lower unit pixel group.</p> |
