Laser resonator assembly with laser welded optical components

The arrangement (2) has several optical components (5-8,11), and a support plate (13) on which the optical components are mounted. The optical components are made of quartz glass, glass ceramic or crystalline ceramic. The optical components are attached with the support plate directly either by a laser welded joint (14) or firmly bonded by an intermediate element (30). The intermediate element is firmly bonded with the optical components and the support plate by the laser welded joint. The depth of laser welded joint is of specific value. An independent claim is included for a method for fabricating laser resonator arrangement.
