PURPOSE: A cathode active material is provided to prevent the negative reaction between a complex oxide and an electrolyte at the high temperature by having a stable cycle characteristic at the high temperature without degradation of high-rate characteristic or capacity per weight. CONSTITUTION: A cathode active material is coated with one or more of selected nano particle from olivine group lithium metal phosphorus oxide and metal oxide on the surface of spinel group lithium manganeses oxide. The spinel lithium manganese oxide is indicated as a chemical formula 1: LiM_xMn_(2-x)O_4, and from here, M is one or more selected from Mi, Zr, Co, Mg, Mo, Al, Ti, Cr, Gd, and Ag, and x is 0 <= x < 1. The olivine lithium metal phosphorus oxide is incidated as the chemical formula 3: LiM_(1-x)A_xPO_4, and from here, M and A are different.
