<p>A method for recovering valuable metals from a printed circuit board is provided to separate undesired components from the printed circuit board by variously manipulating the printed circuit board constituting with various valuable metals. A printed circuit board is destroyed by fire. Flux is added into residues of the destroyed printed circuit board, and the resultant material is heated. The mixture of the flux and the residues is maintained under the heating temperature and then slag is made, thereby settling valuable metal. The slag is refrigerated. The valuable metal is retrieved from the refrigerated slag. The printed circuit board is destroyed while air is being injected with the flow rate of 900 to 1200 cc/min per 1ton substrate, and while heat having a high temperature is being maintained for 7 hours. Carbon having 0.31weight% or less is contained in residues of the destroyed printed circuit board.</p> |
