PURPOSE: An inkjet printer controlling device and a method thereof are provided to generate an empty space in the inside of a storage unit by charging ink only in a part of the storage unit, thereby independently controlling a plurality of nozzles by electrically insulating the ink flowing into the nozzles. CONSTITUTION: An inkjet printer controlling device comprises a first storage unit(10), a plurality of nozzles(40), a plurality of valves(20), a signal generator(70), and a voltage generating unit(80). The fist storage unit supplies ink. The plurality of nozzles sprays the ink. The valves are respectively installed in pipes connecting each nozzle and the first storage unit and supply the ink or cut off the ink supply to the each nozzle through the pipes. The signal generating unit generates first control signals for selecting a specific nozzle among the plurality of nozzles. The voltage generating unit applies voltage to the specific nozzle on a basis of the first control signals.
