<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus in which an apparatus body is prevented from falling down even if strong force is exerted on an opened unit. <P>SOLUTION: A replenishment unit 2 that is opened/closed by rotating centering a spindle is arranged in the image forming apparatus. When performing maintenance care of a photoreceptor unit or the like existing on an inner side of the replenishment unit 2, the replenishment unit 2 is opened and made to retreat. At such a time, there is the possibility that the apparatus body 1 falls down if large moment is generated, because a distance between the replenishment unit 2 and the a rotation support point becomes long. A support 4 is therefore attached to the vicinity of the leading end of the replenishment unit 2 to support the apparatus body 1 so as not to fall down when the replenishment unit 2 is opened. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
