The stamper (1) has a headpiece (2) provided with a recess (5), and a rivet insertable into the recess of the headpiece. The headpiece is axially and elastically supported relative to a base part (3) by an elastomer element (6) that is designed as a silicone ring i.e. O-ring, or a spring. The elastomer element is arranged in an opening, where the headpiece and the base part are arranged adjacent to the opening such that a positive connection is formed between an upper part and the base part. The headpiece is designed as a ring that is slidingly supported on a mandrel of the base part. The rivet is designed as a half hollow rivet. An independent claim is also included for a method for processing a half hollow rivet. |
